  • WordPress.com provides a set of free themes and premium themes. Either use the free theme majority of which are only for beginners and very less customizable or buy their Premium themes which costs really much. Further, you cannot modify the themes provided by them.
  • You cannot add custom CSS for free.
  • You cannot modify theme features.
  • If you want to build an eCommerce theme, you will have to pay.
  • You cannot upload your own custom theme which is way less cheap.
  • You can’t customize login screen.
  • You can’t add custom comment options such as Disqus which is pretty awesome comment plugin.

Account Suspension

  • This is very frequent. Accounts get suspended because of violation of Terms & Conditions of WordPress.com
