What are Adsense Auto Ads?
Google Adsense has released a new feature called Adsense Auto Ads, which eases the process of inserting Ad units on your blog posts and pages. It uses Machine Learning and automatically inserts appropriate Ads at appropriate places to maximize your earnings and CTR.
Earlier one had to create separate Ad units for different places on the website. Now this hectic process has been dedicated. Google has imbibed Machine Learning into Adsense in the name of Auto Ads.

It simplifies the monetization process. You just have to copy a code snippet into your ‘head’ tag or ‘body’ tag(only if you don’t have access to your ‘head’ section. Google will do rest of the work.
You don’t have to worry about policy violation thereafter concerning Ad placement no more.

Type of Ads in Adsense Auto Ads
As a matter of fact, it offers 2 broad categories of Ads and a total of 6 types of Ads to choose from.

How to enable Adsense Auto Ads (Complete Guide)
Select the types of Ads of your preference to allow on your website as shown in the images above. Click Save! If you already have Adsense Ads implemented on your website, you don’t have to do anything else. Google Adsense will automatically manage all the previously inserted manual Ads too!
In case, you are implementing Adsense Ads for the first time, all you need to do is to copy and paste the code snippet it provides after saving in the previous step to your ‘head’ section. In case you don’t have access to your website’s head section, you can copy the snippet to you ‘body’ section too, just after opening the body tag.
I would like to point out one thing here, it might take up to 20 minutes for the changes to take effect! Google claims to double your income and why not? It uses Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to automatically insert ads where chances of clicks are the highest! Enjoy!
How to Add Google Adsense Ads on AMP Pages?
Well, there are a lot of WordPress Plugins, which lets you insert Ads into AMP Pages. Plugins like AMP for WP provides that feature but charge you around $30 extra in the name of extensions, if you need to insert Ads in between paragraphs of your blog post. Gooogle has made it free. There is ‘Lab’ option in the left menu of Google Adsense Dashboard under ‘Optimization’ tab. Basically, this is an experimental feature and you might and might not get this option in your Adsense Dashboard. But if it is, it is the most noteworthy feature which will save you a lot of money as I mentioned above. This cool feature saves you a lot of bucks. Here is how to enable Adsense Ads on AMP Pages.
First of all, go to ‘Optimization’ tab. Then click on ‘Labs’ subtab. There you will find an enable option under Available Labs. What you need to do is just to enable it. (See the image below). Finally, it will provide you with two sets of AMP code snippets (Image below) which you’ll need to put inside 2 different HTML sections of your AMP pages One, that you’ll need to put in your AMP Page Header. Second, which you’ll need to put in the body section of your AMP Page. Google might take around 20 minutes to automatically optimize and show ads on your AMP pages.
How to insert Adsense AMP Auto Ads Manually in WordPress?
Navigate to ‘html-start.php’ file through FTP/SFTP inside AMP Plugin folder like the way it is shown in this image. Though you can implement this using Headers and Footers WordPress Plugin, it’s better to add it manually as I’ve seen cases where it doesn’t work properly in case of the plugin.
